We saw the real estate market buzz and get really loud in early 2017 as prices continued to sky rocket. As the housing market started to heat up fast within the span of a few months the government threw in policies as an attempt to cool it off… but it raised a lot of questions for young first time homebuyers. There were all sorts of speculations about this “housing bubble” and its potential to burst. This seemed like the ideal time to hold a session on the real estate market so the questions get answered by industry experts themselves.
On June 25th, 2017 CTPA held its very first workshop on the real estate market in collaboration with some of our annual sponsors: Bespoke Real Estate Team, iConnect Mortgages, Nava Law, and Ideal Group. A panel of experts covered each aspect of the home buying process, from getting pre-approved for a mortgage to signing the legal papers.
